Hollywood actor Orlando Bloom is reportedly traveling to Venice this week to attend Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez’s multi-day extravaganza—without his fiancée Katy Perry. The decision comes as speculation mounts about a possible split between the couple after nearly nine years together.
TMZ claims Bloom plans to “make his debut as a single man” at the festivities. One insider told TMZ he’s expected to “hit the dance floor hard” and be “the life of the party.” Perry, meanwhile, continues her “Lifetimes” tour in Australia and isn’t expected to attend.
Tension between the pair reportedly stems partly from Perry’s controversial Blue Origin spaceflight earlier this month. Bloom is said to have found the venture “cringeworthy” and reportedly warned Perry against it—triggering friction.
Their relationship reportedly began in 2016, and they got engaged in 2019 before welcoming daughter Daisy Dove in 2020. Sources suggest the couple has been living separate lives recently. While there's no official split announcement, insiders indicate the wedding attendance dynamic may signal deeper issues.
Bloom was recently spotted in Perth with Daisy, as Perry performed at the RAC Arena—captured in sweet father-daughter moments but no joint appearances.
The Venice wedding, set to span several days, features high-profile events like foam parties, cocktail receptions, and drone shows. A-listers such as Kim Kardashian, Ivanka Trump, Oprah Winfrey, and Leonardo DiCaprio are expected to attend.
As the event unfolds, all eyes will be on Bloom’s solo appearance. Will this signal a final farewell to their relationship or simply a temporary split due to conflicting commitments? Only time will tell.
